I watched a video and had some insight into what I need to start doing with my mpc.
With less than 20 days left on my 40 days to an album project, I thought it was more than time to release an instrumental, or a piece of an instrumental.
The goal, 1 album within 40 days. I find that inspiration is never something that I am short on. In the recent weeks I have been part of many things that have inspired me. Additionally there have been changes that have led me to look for new avenues to express the art.
Local artist Joe Black graced the lab this weekend after I returned to the city from my holiday break. It started as a conversation about making music and led into watching magic happen in front of me.
Visiting artist Billi D. hit the lab for a hot second and worked on a track that was sitting around waiting to be "molded".
Another piece that we started a few nights ago, there are more edits of this track coming.
Before the end of each month I am publishing any song that was not completed, as long as the artists involved have agreed. This month I have 3 tracks to put up and 3 more that are being withheld. Enjoy

I recently obtained an MPC 1000, it has been less than a week and I have plenty to express.
My first Pro Tools track was completed this week, I wanted to use the track as a test to see how behind the learning curve I am. The results were okay, but not great.
